Proactively continue fair and unbiased law enforcement for Grafton County residents and guests in a fiscally responsible and professional manner.
Continue to adapt law enforcement services with changing technology in the most fiscally sound and responsible ways.
Continue to develop regional investigative and law enforcement resources that aligns with the needs of the department and communities that are served.
Identify and Encourage both Individual and Department goals and objectives;
Continue Strict Hiring Standards;
Increase and Encourage Cross Agency Training;
Continue to Promote Leadership Trainings to develop tomorrows supervisors and leaders;
Encourage specialized training that aligns with the Mission, Vision and Values of the Agency;
Promote professionalism and excellence;
Assign additional responsibilities to all level staff to develop a team mentality;
Encourage individual decision making when in line with the Mission, Vision, and Values of the Department;
Encourage teamwork amongst agency staff and other departments to maximize the resources to public service;
Create a Peer Support / Mental Health Wellness Program to assist deputies and staff who are coping with the mental stresses from exposure to trauma, violence or the demands of the
profession;
Establish a physical fitness program or incentives to encourage a healthy lifestyle and fitness for duty;
Seek grants to create additional staff and deputy opportunities to avoid burnout and compassion fatigue. This would also allow for some individual staff members to focus their efforts on specific law enforcement functions such as combatting the opioid epidemic by aggressively seeking to hold those who sell narcotics in our region accountable or by seeking those who prey on our youngest of victims in our communities;
Continue to provide staff with the tools, equipment, and training necessary to efficiently and reasonably conduct business so as they can protect property and the resident’s and guests of
Grafton County and New Hampshire.
Continually evaluate resources and realign duties and responsibilities to foster growth and efficiency.
Continually strive to strengthen the agencies ability to move forward with staff development and succession plans;
Encourage Teamwork and Collaboration within the department and amongst the agencies and region we serve;
Plan for and continue to meet the standards set for accreditation that is being developed at the State level;
Continue to hold each other accountable;
Never compromise my or the agencies Non-Negotiables;
